Social media and the regular media can be a very good way to put the association and its members in the spotlight. This way people can stay informed about everything, even if they can't be at the association.
More than 10 million Dutch people actively use social media for everything from entertainment and updates about friends to news and current affairs.
This means that social media can offer enormous opportunities for sports associations, for example to reach new members and sponsors, but above all to increase involvement of members by being able to inform them more.
